Born and raised in the Bay Area, Jordan is a Chinese-Japanese American who seeks to empower students around the world. Uplifting their voices, advocating for representation, and highlighting the complexities of intersectional identities. She has brought those beliefs from behind a mic to behind a camera. Where she creates screen plays, writes short stories, and speaks in podcasts. Her passions have led her to DAY, where she works alongside amazing Chapter Leads, fostering spaces for AAPI visibility, activism, and creativity. In her free time, Jordan indulges in teaching herself ASL, binge watching K-Dramas, or playing the Ukulele. Jordan hopes to continue with DAY, as it continues to grow and inspire around the globe!
