As a passionate social justice advocate striving to make a meaningful impact, Hetvi is ecstatic to be a Northeast Policy Associate with Dear Asian Youth. Hetvi is a rising high school senior from central New Jersey, who is very excited to catalyze change in her community through her role as a policy associate. Through her position, Hetvi aims to provide greater representation for the Asian community, while politically empowering youth and conveying DAY’s values. In her free time, you can likely find Hetvi reading, writing journalistic articles, debating, listening to Taylor Swift, or binge-watching Gilmore Girls.
