Apart from managing the Dear Asian Girl podcast, Annette loves to play video games, watch Youtube videos and create digital art. Annette finds her inspiration for her creative works through the people around her, life experiences and everyday life.

Alina is a Pakistani-American living in Idaho who is passionate about all things filmmaking, medicine, public health, philosophy, and social justice related. Outside of attending her school, Stanford Online High School, Alina hosts two podcasts, Dear Asian Girl and Colonize This and also runs a youth volunteer organization, Youth Activism Society. Alongside her volunteer and podcast work, Alina is screenwriting a short film set to finish by the end of her high school career. Besides her passion projects, Alina is a competitive sabre fencer for 10+ years.

She loves novelty earrings and pom-pom tailed poodles (hers included, of course), and can be found tucked away outdoors while listening to a good podcast.

If she isn’t downing iced coffee and blasting J-metal in preparation for some late-night paper-cramming, you can find her chasing neighbourhood cats, playing volleyball, or watching either kids’ cartoons or absurdist horror movies.
